Amerindian community eco-tourism projects [2009-current]

Guyana – On-site overhaul of rudimentary business systems (budgets, business plans, product offerings) at several rainforest ecolodges operated by indigenous tribes in central Guyana. Presented supporting policy recommendations to regional tourism authority. Partnered with USAID to execute tourism promotion and economic development goals. Caribbean Islands and Northern South America  – Significant expansion of sales and marketing efforts to the North American market with emphasis on high-value, high-profile visitors, increasing revenues for this market by at least 30%. Orchestrated and led complex tours to remote rainforest destinations for the Travel Channel, USAID, WWF Board of Directors, and senior researchers at the Smithsonian Institution.
